Welcome to Aura! These step-by-step guides help you quickly and confidently
engage with our prediction markets.

## How to create a market

Follow these steps to propose a new prediction market:

    Connect your Alephium-compatible wallet to Aura.

  <Step title="Check your tier">
    Ensure you have at least Iron-tier status (stake a minimum of 60,000
    $AURA tokens if needed). See [Staking & Vaulting $AURA]\(/tokens/staking).

  <Step title="Open the proposal form">
    Click the **Propose Market** button at the top-right of the site.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Fill out market details">
    Enter your prediction question, detailed rules, category, end date, and
    any relevant images or links.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Submit proposal">
    Confirm the transaction via your wallet.
  </Step>

Your market will undergo a 24-hour community vote. Approved markets are
automatically activated.

## How to trade markets

### Buying shares

    Select your market from the homepage.

  <Step title="Choose an outcome">
    YES or NO.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter spend amount">
    Enter the amount of USDT you want to spend.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Click **Buy** and confirm the transaction via your wallet.
  </Step>

### Selling shares

<Steps>
  <Step title="Switch to Sell">
    Select the **Sell** tab within the chosen market.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick shares">
    Choose the outcome shares you wish to sell.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter quantity">
    Enter the number of shares.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Click **Sell** and confirm the transaction.
  </Step>

<Note>
  Each transaction carries a small **2.5%** fee collected in USDT.
</Note>

## How to vote and resolve disputes

If a market outcome is disputed, follow these steps:

    Click the **Vote** tab on the navigation toolbar and select the
    **Outcomes** section.

  <Step title="Review disputes">
    Browse the list of active disputes.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Cast your vote">
    Vote YES or NO based on your evaluation of the market outcome. You must
    hold no position in the market and have staked \$AURA tokens.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Finalize">
    Once voting concludes (after 24 hours), the majority decision finalizes
    the outcome.
  </Step>

<Tip>
  Voting participants share **10%** of the total market fees as a reward.
