Reply on a ticket (or add an internal note).
Non-internal replies flip the ticket to the requested status (default waiting_on_user), set the user unread flag, and write a support_reply notification row deep-linking to /support/[ticketId] — the notification is the doorbell, never the message. Internal notes touch nothing user-visible. Renders to users as “Aura Support”.
